We started the day at Green Cay Nature Preserve in Palm Beach County, Florida. They were having a fair of sorts with tables set up with various wildlife information. Deb talked with some people about a photo contest, I chatted with the Audubon Society folks, and we both learned about Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. The day was sunny and warm, low eighties.

Not much going on.
Spurred on the heat of the day, we called it quits and headed for the beach.
The beach was nice, but I guess we were just not in the mood. Deb ask the lifeguard if he knew a place on the water for a nice tropical drink and a bite to eat. He did. To be continued…
